Umfula Resort Accommodation
and General Information
Self-Catering chalets as well as caravan/tent stands offer accommodation. The Resort has a volley ball court, trampoline, mini golf course, 3 sparkling pools, a jumping castle and kiddie’s jungle gym for your enjoyment. One of these pools is a kiddie’s pool and there is a playground for our younger guests as well. Down by the river fishing is a favourite pastime. There are some excellent private fishing spots with lots of shade down the banks of the Vaal River at the Resort. Umfula Resort has a jetty that makes launching a boat a simple task. On top of all the above hiking, off road cycling & birding are offered at the Resort.
Chalets
The self-catering chalets are fully equipped with all the cutlery and crockery needed. Each chalet has a private bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave oven, four plate stove and oven and a fridge/freezer. All chalets have a shaded patio with a built in braai and parking for 2 cars.Caravan and Camping
The grassed camping sites each have their own power outlet, most have partial shade during the day and the camp site is well lit at night. Braai facilities have been built at strategic spots on the camping site, with water points close by. There is a scullery for dish washing.
Hall or Bar
The hall is fully equipped for up to a maximum of 150 guests. Conferencing, Weddings, Birthday parties, Bachelors & Bachelorette’s or anything you would like to celebrate – we do it! We have our own fulltime kitchen staff therefor we do all the catering ourselves.Boat Club
